THE FIRM
Stewards of
Multi-Generational Wealth
The traditional single-family office has long been the standard of care for substantial wealth. Cambient brings that model to a select group of families: the depth of a dedicated staff, with the perspective, continuity, and economics that come from serving peers who share similar challenges. Built on a culture of stewardship, our approach centers on clarity, coordination, and continuity, so you can stay focused on what matters most.
We Built the Firm
We Couldn’t Find
Cambient was founded by its partners after decades inside the financial services industry. Long enough to see what families actually receive: service models built for scale rather than for people, and advice shaped more by corporate objectives than by the family across the table. The advisors were often good. The structures answered to someone else.
So we started over. Cambient is owned by the partners who serve you. No product shelves, no standardized models, no home office between your question and our answer. We design each solution from the ground up, and we move when your life does: a sale, a gift, a decision that can’t wait.
The firm runs on the question that founded it: Is this right for this family? Sometimes the answer is a new structure. Sometimes it's a recommendation not to proceed. The answer changes. The question never does.

The Depth of a Family Office, Without Building One
Many families consider building a single-family office with their own staff, systems, and infrastructure. The economics deserve a clear-eyed look. The average single-family office spends $3 million per year on operations alone. For offices managing over $1 billion, the figure is $6.6 million and rising. Two-thirds of every operating dollar goes to staffing, and 86% of family offices lack a succession plan for their key decision-makers.
A multi-family office offers a different structure: the same institutional capabilities (investment leadership, consolidated reporting, entity administration, enterprise technology) shared across a limited number of families, with professional continuity no single hire can provide. For families who want an office in their own name, Cambient can serve as the investment and administrative platform behind it.

How We Work
Every family arrives with an existing financial life: advisors, entities, habits, history. Our job isn't to replace what works but to connect it. Here is what an engagement with Cambient looks like.
01
Discover
We begin by listening to the family’s history, priorities, and concerns, as well as the entities, accounts, and advisors already in place. Before any recommendation, we build a complete picture of the balance sheet and what the family wants it to do.
02
Design
We build an integrated plan that connects investments, tax strategy, estate structures, philanthropy, and administration, stress-tested against the scenarios that matter and reviewed with your outside advisors.
03
Implement
Strategy is only valuable when executed. We manage the follow-through: transitioning portfolios tax-efficiently, funding trusts, retitling accounts, consolidating reporting, and assigning responsibilities.
04
Steward
We continuously monitor the plan with proactive reviews, tax-aware management, family meetings, and ongoing coordination as circumstances, priorities, and opportunities change.
how we're compensated
Cambient is compensated through transparent advisory fees agreed in advance and disclosed fully in our Form ADV. We accept no commissions, referral payments, or product compensation of any kind.
working with your existing advisors
Your attorney, CPA, and other trusted advisors remain central. We convene, coordinate, and translate among them, and take responsibility for the whole rather than a piece. When additional expertise is needed, we help identify and coordinate the right specialist.
We built Cambient around a simple idea: a family office should be accountable to the families it serves. We'd welcome a conversation about what you expect from an advisory relationship and how our independent, partner-owned approach could meet those expectations.
